Jesus’ last instructions to His disciples on earth are recorded for us in Matthew 28:18-20

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (NIV)

These instructions tell us we have…

  • Authority imparted to us as the basis for all authentic ministry (outreach)
  • Baptism of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit to enable us (presence)
  • A commission to teach others and release them into God’s power (teaching)

Jesus concludes by giving us a guarantee of His manifest presence with us as we carry out the elements of this commission.

The purpose of A.I.M. is to partner with local churches to build and strengthen the presence and outreach ministries of the body of Christ by teaching and raising up the next generation of men and women who will carry the gospel into their world.

Knowledgeable people, empowered by God, with a clear understanding of Jesus’ commission will contribute to a strong and vigorous church, capable of ministering to the needs of people throughout the community.

A.I.M. will help you become a minister of the gospel in your church and in your community. It is a practical ministry training program to help people live out their Christian faith in powerful ways with radical results.
